The Synco Mic-D1 is a battery-/phantom-powered shotgun microphone featuring a hypercardioid polar pattern to deliver sharpened frontal focus and side rejection compared to supercardioid shotguns, allowing it to capture clear, quality dialogue and sound effects for independent filmmakers, videographers, and broadcasters as well as vloggers and YouTubers.

The microphone's XLR output and included XLR cable enable standardized hookup to mic preamps, mixers, and a variety of portable audio recorders, while the supplied XLR to 3.5mm cable is optimal for connecting the Mic-D1 to a mirrorless camera or DSLR. It can be operated via 48V phantom power or a single AA battery, which allows up to 100 hours of run time.

With strong sensitivity and high maximum SPL handling, the Mic-D1 provides robust distortion-free signal. Its circuit offers a switchable 180 Hz high-pass filter designed to reduce problematic low-frequency signals such as rumble. The lightweight body is constructed from CNC-machined brass for improved resistance to interference and durability. The matte black finish reduces reflectivity to ensure visual discretion during video shoots.
